墨西哥光伏开发商Zuma Energía 的两个大型光伏项目获得了墨西哥开发银行2.94亿美元的资金支持。这两个项目合计容量为337兆瓦，在2016年墨西哥的第二次电力拍卖中获得了长期的PPA。
建造在索诺拉州的Orejana太阳能公园项目总容量为158兆瓦，投资额1.39亿美元，将部署48.744万块太阳能组件，年产电量预计为353吉瓦时。该电站的清洁能源证书和电力将出售给当地电力公司CFE，商业性运转预计在2019年6月启动。另一个在奇瓦瓦州的Santa María太阳能公园，容量为179兆瓦，投资额1.55亿美元，预计2019年年中完成建设。
Zuma Energía为Actis 和Mesoamerica的合资企业，前者是一个国际性多类型资产新兴市场投资者，而后者是一家拉美投资管理公司。2016年9月Zuma Energía从西班牙能源公司Fisterra Energy处收购了上述两个太阳能项目。该公司还拥有一个风能项目。
