亚美尼亚的第三大光伏电站建成完工。Shtigen LLC公司在该国总理Karen Karapetyan的见证下启动了1MW项目的运行。
这一项目位于 Armavir Marz的Shenik 社区，投资额为80万美元，由Shtigen、Baghramyanshin 和ACBA Leasing三方共建。据称该电站装有3,124块多晶硅太阳能电池板和37个太阳能逆变器。预计年发电量可达1600千瓦时，所获得的电价为$0.088/kW。
2016年12月亚美尼亚公共服务监管委员会(PSRC) 推出了一项旨在支持规模介于150kW至1MW之间项目的特殊电价方案，并颁发出11张许可证，总计10MW。Shtigen共获得了3MW的项目，除了刚投产的1兆瓦项目外，还另有两个容量分别为1MW和580Kw的项目将在2018年上线。
该国政府表示目前还有8MW的项目在建设中，预计将在2018年投入商用。据称亚美尼亚政府将在2018年开放公用事业级光伏电站的新增配额。今年5月，该国公布了大型电站的招标机制。作为该国价值5800万美元的太阳能“6年计划”的一部分，有6个总计容量为110MW的太阳能项目在此机制下开发。
