中东太阳能产业协会(MESIA)在上周的阿布扎比可持续发展周(ADSW)上举行了颁奖典礼。来自科威特、阿曼、埃及、约旦及阿联酋的7位评委，共选出12个奖项：
- “年度太阳能企业家奖”： Sterling & Wilson公司的总裁兼CEO Bikesh Ogra
- “年度太阳能屋顶项目奖”：约旦可再生能源和能源效益基金
- “年度大型太阳能项目奖”：日本丸红公司的1177兆瓦Sweihan光伏项目
- “年度储能项目奖”：SMA Middle East Limited在玻利维亚的混合式光伏柴油发电项目
- “年度顾问奖”：Synergy Consulting Infrastructure and Financial Advisory公司
- “2018太阳能博览会最具创新性的技术展示”： 华为公司的具有最先进CIT技术的智能光伏解决方案
- “年度混合项目奖”： Enerwhere的五星级度假村离网太阳能混合动力系统
- “光伏逆变器年度冠军”：SMA Middle East Limited的Sunny Tripower CORE1产品
- “太阳能价值链的年度冠军”： Al-Babtain Power & Telecommunication 公司
- “年度企业太阳能可持续发展项目奖”：K-Electric 公司
此外，Ghadir Shaar凭借其为Mohammed Bin Rashid 太阳能公园所拍摄的美丽日落获得了“年度太阳能摄影奖”，MESA前总裁Hadi Tahboub被授予了终身成就奖。
