在3月初分配了2亿瑞典克朗（约2400万美元）的预算后，瑞典政府近日宣布将另拨1.7亿瑞典克朗（约2000万美元）用于住宅和商业光伏太阳能的返利方案。
瑞典财政部副部长Per Bolund表示，大多数民众都希望能100%改用可再生能源。太阳能将在未来的可持续能源系统中发挥越来越重要的作用。
政府新增资金的注入，可以减少新用户等待的时间。另一方面，从2018年1月1日起，向安装光伏系统的屋主和企业购买者支付的返利比例从20%提高到了30%。
2009-2017年间，瑞典能源署(Energimyndigheten)共拨款14亿克朗支持太阳能。截至2017年底，瑞典运营中的光伏容量约为231兆瓦。
