法国氢能源专业公司HDF Energy推出了圭亚那西部电厂项目(CEOG)，它有望成为全球最大的太阳能+储能电站之一。
这一项目将分三个阶段进行：今年为开发阶段，将与当地的咨询公司合作进行地形及其他研究和环境影响评估；2019和2020年为建设阶段；2020至2040年为运营阶段。
项目将通过以一个公用事业规模的光伏电站、以氢气为形式的大量及长期能源储存、和使用蓄电池作为短期储能相结合的方式提供电力。
这一9000万美元的电站，预计每年能产生约50 GWH的电力，可涵盖项目所在地（法属圭亚那西北部的圣劳伦特杜拜马罗尼）及附近马纳市的能源需求。电站的日固定电产量为日间10MW、晚间3MW。
HDF表示，CEOG可成为全球最大的氢基储存间歇可再生能源电站，它可储存相当于140MW的能源。而目前全球最大的储能项目，是Tesla和Neoen在澳大利亚开发的129兆瓦容量项目。
