德国联邦网络局(Bundesnetzagentur)报告称在5月份注册的新太阳能光伏发电系统总容量达到了 194.3兆瓦，其中包括37.4兆瓦的地面安装光伏电站。
屋顶部门继续发挥驱动作用。5月新增6,570套屋顶光伏系统，总容量为156.8兆瓦，但这一数值仍落后于1月和4月注册量。
租户太阳能供电计划方案，联邦网络局在5月收到了17个项目的报告，总发电量仅为648千瓦，该月仅有三套装置投入运行。至5月底，享受租户电力补贴的系统数量上升至125套，总发电量略低于3.3兆瓦。
太阳能公园方面，5月份共记录了24座新增地面太阳能发电站，大多为750千瓦及以下的地面安装系统。
根据联邦网络局的数据，德国今年前五个月的新增光伏容量约为1000兆瓦。到5月底，该国由可再生能源法资助的光伏系统累计发电量增加到43,981兆瓦。
光伏屋顶系统的FIT水平，以及对100千瓦以上系统强制性执行的直接销售收入上限，已经保持了一年未变。FIT电价根据系统的规模不等介于每千瓦时10.61-12.20欧分。而其他设施则为8.44欧分。直接营销方案下的价格介于每千瓦时8.84-12.60欧分。
今年七月底，联邦网络局将公布未来三个月的电价。
