西门子公司在一份声明中表示，该公司已经获得了一份向越南Trung Nam集团的一个258MW太阳能光伏电站提供设备及调试的合同。这是西门子在东南亚地区的第一个光伏项目。
这一设备订单包括逆变器、电源和配电变压器、气体绝缘中压开关设备、断路器和监控系统等。合同金额约1500万欧元。
西门子表示，这一光伏园区位于越南南部的Ninh Tuan，预计将在明年年中建成。园区将配备有1500V组合直流电压的太阳能组件。逆变器会将DC电源转换成660V的AC，之后变压器将首次将其提升到33KV，最终达到220 KV。升级到33 KV的必要部件已经被设计为“即插即用MV电站”，因此可作为一个单独的单元安装，而无需花费大力施工。
这一电站所产生的太阳能电力将被馈入高压电网并向全国输电。项目完成后，预计每年将产生425 GWh的电力。
越南今年至少公布了六个大型地面太阳能光伏发电项目，包括Grimm Power和 Xuan Cau公司在Tay Ninh的两个总计300MW的太阳能发电厂、Sunseap在Ninh Thuan省的一个168 MW项目，以及Sterling & Wilson计划在明年安装的一个300 MW项目。
于此同时，晶澳太阳能上周宣布，已经获得了一项6840万美元的长期购买者信用贷款，用于购买其在越南设立的1.5GW晶片厂的制造设备；Ecoprogetti表示，它已经完成了在该国的250兆瓦光伏生产线的订单。预计将于2018年6月安装这一玻璃背板生产线。
