根据巴西Greener咨询公司发布的一份新报告，巴西分布式发电(DG)系统的价格持续下降，总装机容量已超过308兆瓦。今年上半年新增装机容量约为126兆瓦，超过了去年全年的安装量。
在净计量下安装在的DC 光伏系统价格在过去两年中显示出了相同的下降趋势。
Greener的报告称，2017年6月到2018年6月间, 上限为1兆瓦的光伏系统的价格下降得更厉害。例如，一个4千瓦的住宅太阳能系统，平均价格从14个月前的BRL6.58/W ($1.70/W) 下降到两个月前的BRL 5.76/W，降幅达12.5%。Greener强调，系统的安装成本为BRL2.11，而系统本身的平均价格成本为剩余的BRL3.65。一个50千瓦的商业性系统价格同比下降了约8%，从BRL 4.83/W将至4.41/W。其中BRL1.52为一体化成本，BRL2.89为太阳能列阵的成本。1兆瓦的分布式发电系统平均价格从BRL4.18/W降到BRL3.78/W，降幅为9.5%。其中一体化成本BRL1.05，设备成本BRL2.3。
报告还显示，至六月底，已有32,366个DC光伏系统（共计308.5兆瓦）并入巴西电网，其容量在今年上半年内增加了126.5兆瓦，超过了去年120.3兆瓦的全年安装量。其中43.8%为商用设备，40%为住宅系统。
今年上半年更令人印象深刻的是，进口光伏组件的数量达到了413.5兆瓦，其中约410.5兆瓦已经被销售出去。相比之下，2017年全年的进口总额仅为332.6兆瓦，光伏面板的数量为297.6兆瓦。
Greener还报告称，Sices, Aldo 和 Renovigi仍然是该国最大的光伏系统安装商，而阿特斯太阳能(Canadian Solar)、晶科和日升是DG领域的三大组件供应商。在巴西拥有组件制造设施的阿特斯占据了62.1%的市场份额。
