在2018印度可再生能源博览会(Renewable Energy India Expo 2018)上，德国逆变器巨头SMA公布了其最新的集中式逆变器Sunny Central UP。公司表示这一逆变器的容量等级是4.6兆瓦，为目前全球范围内功率最强大的集中式逆变器，与该公司之前的顶级集中式逆变器相比，功率跃升了50%。
此外，这款逆变器的工作电压为1500V DC，可根据电站系统的结构布局，交流、直流或同时交直流连接储能系统。在这一方面，该款逆变器具有完全集成的软、硬件解决方案，使电池存储系统的安装变得更便捷且无需额外的部件。
SMA公用事业部执行副总裁Boris Wolff表示，SMA希望籍此新型Sunny Central UP，能开创出光伏发电在未来能源供应中发挥中心作用的局面。SMA所提供的带有这一新型集中式逆变器的可持续、高效光伏电站解决方案，能让EPC公司、电站运营商和投资者们获得更高的能源产量，在实施项目时具有更大的灵活性，并且能极大地降低大型光伏发电厂项目的运营成本。
此外，此款逆变器完全符合一系列的安全标准协议，以及所有的国际性行业要求。例如它已获得了IEE standard 2030 以及强调逆变器网络安全的高标准UL standard 2900-2-2的认证。
该产品在REI 2018会展之后即可接受订货。
