KEPCO联合日本东京大学、日本软件开发商Nihon Unisys和三菱东京日联银行进行了这项研究。KEPCO将通过使用区块链技术,了解电力消费者和电力生产消费商之间如何进行交易,并根据从中所获得的知识技能,来确定剩余太阳能电力的价格。

近来,将太阳能与区块链相结合的试点项目呈指数级增长。最近,世界能源理事会(World Energy Council)与普华永道(PwC)审计师事务所合作,采访了39位能源管理方面的高层领导人,试图确定区块链到底是在推动能源生态系统的演变还是变革。受访者们一致认为,尽管区块链已经激发了众多的能源机构努力进行创新,但要实现其充分的经济和技术潜力,还有很长的路要走。
