韩国组件制造商韩华Q Cells最近公布，已签订了为一座150兆瓦太阳能发电厂供应100兆瓦产品的供货协议。交易关联方为EPC承包商中国电力工程顾问集团中南电力设计院，后者正在为中广核新能源（CGN New Energy）建设这一电站。
这一项目位于湖北省通山县，属太阳高辐照地区，现已有可再生能源和蓄电池储能项目。
韩华表示，第一批30兆瓦的产品已经于11月2日到达现场。预计电站能在年底前做好并网的所有准备。
同时，由于在今年7月份韩华已经就一个“领跑者”项目与CGN达成了66兆瓦供货协议，这一新订单意味着该公司将向CGN电力集团交付总共400兆瓦的组件。
研究机构IHS Markit已将2018年中国市场的预测值调高至令人鼓舞的40吉瓦，这意味着累计容量将达165吉瓦。而据报道，中国政府也在考虑将2020年太阳能目标从105吉瓦调高至210-270吉瓦。
市场研究机构Fitch Solution Macro Research预测，未来十年全球太阳能市场将经历138%的增长。而去年报道的全球累计安装量为395吉瓦，至2027年的预计安装量为942吉瓦。
