约旦光伏电池板制造商Philadelphia Solar日前宣布已完成了中东北非地区最大的一座太阳能+储能电厂的建设。
这座23 MW/12.6 MWh的设施位于约旦北部马夫拉克(Mafraq)附近，分两期建造。第一期12MW的设施已在2015年10月投产，第二期11MW的设施目前也已并网。第二期工程部署了约34,350块多晶320W面板、来自Philadelphia Solar的PS-1P单轴跟踪器和一个12 MWh锂离子储能系统。电站已与Irbid District Electricity Company签妥了购电协议。
这一价值4,200万美元项目的融资方为约旦首都银行（Capital Bank of Jordan），所有权归属Philadelphia Solar的子公司Al Badiya。
Philadelphia Solar是约旦最大的两家光伏组件制造商之一，年产能220MW。其竞争对手是总部位于阿卡巴(Aqaba)的Wiosun公司。
在约旦，具有“约旦原产地标签”的可再生能源发电系统，开发商有权获得额外15%的上网电价。约旦目前正在通过一系列的招标和净计量制度来支持太阳能和可再生能源的开发。
