今年2月，德国联邦网络局（Bundesnetzagentur）注册了约418.6兆瓦的新增光伏系统。这其中有386.8兆瓦不在该国750千瓦以上项目招标计划之内，大部分为容量介于40-750千瓦的大型屋顶光伏阵列。自2月份以来，德国每月都会针对此类项目进行一次特别的FIT削减。
另外，德国能源署还选定了28.0兆瓦的地面安装项目，以及1.2兆瓦的租户电力方案。
仅今年前两个月，德国的新增太阳能发电量就达到了近1吉瓦。至2月底的累计光伏装机容量已经达到46.9吉瓦。
今年4月是政府对40-750千瓦屋顶光伏系统进行FIT特别削减的最后一个月。从4月1日起，直销电价的价格将降至0.0890欧元/千瓦时，较小型光伏系统的电价将为0.1151欧元/千瓦时，其他规模系统将为0.0808欧元/千瓦时。同时，固定FIT将进一步削减。10千瓦及以下的光伏系统设定为0.1111欧元/千瓦时， 10-40千瓦的光伏系统为0.1081欧元/千瓦时，40-100千瓦的项目为0.0850欧元/千瓦时。100千瓦以上的装置，所发电力必须进行直销。
5月1日，德国联邦网络局将公布未来三个月的新电价。考虑到今年前两个月的高增长率，降幅可能从目前的1.0%进一步降至1.4%。
