太阳能开发商Buenavista Renewables México和为墨西哥墨西卡利州和下加利福尼亚州提供电力服务的电力供应商ESCO，已宣布将通过电力购买协议向Zodiac Aerospace Equipo de México出售太阳能。
根据这份PPA，所提供的电力将来自于位于奇瓦瓦州Ahumada的80兆瓦Los Santos Solar II项目中一个规模约为13兆瓦的电厂，它紧邻Buenavista已在运营之中的Los Santos Solar I电厂。
根据协议，法国赛峰集团（Safran）的子公司Zodiac Aerospace将从符合墨西哥市场法规、具资质供应商的ESCO处，获得全部电力、清洁能源证书和发电产能。大约70%的电力将来自Los Santos Solar II，并且Zodiac Aerospace已承诺每年购买超过30吉瓦的电力。

“能与赛峰集团在此次交易中开展合作，并结识这样一家致力于保护环境的国际公司，同时从固定电价的经济优势中受益，我们感觉非常愉快，”BVR财务总监Dean Hull表示。Zodiac Aerospace总经理Felipe Sandoval表示：“与BVR和ESCO签署的协议与赛峰的战略不谋而合：开发新的、可靠的清洁能源，以实现碳中和。”
据业务发展总监José Ruiz透露，这笔交易标志着BVR致力于构建多方共赢的协议。他补充说：“我们渴望通过类似举措与墨西哥私营部门的其他客户合作，这也将有助于墨西哥实现既定的能源独立目标。”
