迪拜水电局（DEWA）已启动大型Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum太阳能园区五期项目招标。
该机构称在其去年5月启动IPP招标特别咨询服务后，已收到64家公司递交的投标意向书，参加2月晚些时候开始的资格预审申请程序。
DEWA已明确指出，中标者将拥有项目运营公司的40%股份，迪拜水电局拥有剩余60%股份。该机构将与中标者签订900 MW项目25年的购电协议。“太阳能园区五期将从2021年第二季度开始分阶段试运行，”迪拜水电局在一份网络声明中称。
中东最大的光伏项目
目前，该5 GW太阳能园区仅有两部分正在运行：仅13 MW发电量的一期和产能为200MW的二期。园区内目前在建的还有800 MW光伏阵列和200MW聚光太阳能热发电（CSP）厂。一期由美国薄膜组件制造商First Solar于2013年年底开发建设，二期由沙特集团ACWA Power与西班牙工程服务提供商TSK合作建成。
2017年，法国能源巨头EDF开始建设三期工程的800 MW光伏子项目，其中200 MW部分于2018年5月开始发电。该项目的这一部分将按照每千瓦时0.029美元单价向迪拜水电局售电。
原计划建成700 MW聚光太阳能热发电厂的四期项目，由于后期扩增了250 MW光伏发电量，目前正由ACWA建设。这期项目的光伏部分将按照每千瓦时0.024美元售电。ACWA与DEWA就CSP部分达成每千瓦时0.073美元的单价。
包括大型蓄电和氢厂在内的Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum太阳能园区计划到2030年全面建设完成。
