突尼斯能源、矿业和可再生能源部已收到了其在11月发布的500兆瓦太阳能招标的五个投标提案。
根据招标的初步结果，该部门的顾问Mehdi Majoul在他的LinkedIn社交媒体账户上写道，由未透露的领先国际太阳能公司提交的报价为突尼斯市场带来了创纪录的低价。
Majoul补充说，泰塔温省（Tataouine）的200兆瓦项目得到了每千瓦时71.800突尼斯第纳尔（0.0244美元）的最低报价。根据这位顾问的说法，位于西迪布济德省（Sidi Bouzid）和托泽尔省（Tozeur）的两个50兆瓦项目得到了每千瓦时79.300突尼斯第纳尔（0.027美元）的报价，而在加夫萨省（Gafsa）和凯鲁万省（Kairouan）的其余两个100兆瓦项目，报价分别为每千瓦时79.900突尼斯第纳尔（0.0272美元）和每千瓦时84.100突尼斯第纳尔（0.0286美元）。
“值得注意的是，Scatec Solar公司为泰塔温省项目提供的电税，即每千瓦时0.0244美元，是有史以来在非洲的最低出价，在世界上也居于最低水平，”Majoul写道，“本次招标中提出的价格将有助于降低全国电力生产成本，并减少能源补贴开支，此外还将把国家天然气进口量降低5%。这些项目将在2021年投产。”
突尼斯政府已经对16家开发商进行了资格预审。其中包括欧洲能源巨头Enel、Engie、道达尔和EDF——其中后者采用了与阿联酋马斯达尔（Masdar）和日本三井（Mitsui）联合的形式。其他竞标者还包括阿特斯阳光电力（Canadian Solar）、西班牙开发商Acciona和Fotowatio、法国的GreenYellow、Akuo和Voltalia、挪威的Scatec、沙特电力公司ACWA，以及中国的特变电工。 突尼斯还通过较小的70兆瓦招标项目支持大规模太阳能发电。不过仅限于国内公司参与竞争。
