各党派达成一致，作为绿色电力一揽子计划的一部分，将从明年到2022年每年拨款3600万欧元，为太阳能和储能项目发展提供资金。“有了新的资金，我们将会营造出……致力于100%可再生电力的环境，”PVA董事总经理Vera Immitzer表示。
取消太阳能税
该协会的其他要求也得到了积极成果：对使用屋顶阵列的家庭所发电力的用电量征收的“太阳能税”于周四被取消。根据之前的规定，利用太阳能的家庭可以免费使用25兆瓦时的自发电太阳能，但随后必须在光伏系统使用期内每使用一度电力支付0.015欧元的税费。
Immitzer补充道：“我们很高兴看到国家终于采取行动，并且最终取消了对光伏自发电的电费征税的消息。”
政府所设定的目标是到2030年实现完全依靠可再生能源系统。PVA计算得出，这将需要约15吉瓦的太阳能发电产能。奥地利目前仅有这一数额的10%。
