借助绿色债券至今已筹集到7,880亿美元的清洁能源投资融资，加上其他与可持续性相关的社会筹资活动，可持续贷款市场的规模现已超过了1万亿美元。 根据商业情报机构彭博社（BloombergNEF）的报道，世界银行的私人融资分支机构国际金融公司昨天在华盛顿特区举办的可持续债券论坛上宣布了这一发展成果。
彭博社表示，绿色债券从2007年在金融市场上首次亮相起，占据了可持续债务的最大份额（77%）。此类金融工具构成了公司得到资本用于清洁能源和其他可持续投资的筹款手段。
可再生能源激励举措
然而，自9月份以来，与可持续发展相关的贷款和债券开始兴起，当时意大利公用事业公司Enel SpA发行了15亿美元的债券，并承诺如果无法达到可再生能源发电目标将向投资者支付更高回报。
根据彭博社昨天发布的新闻稿，与可持续发展相关的贷款占可持续债务市场的一成，并且类似配置的债券也开始发挥作用。按这家市场情报机构的说法，为可持续投资项目筹集资金而发行的债券占可持续借款的7%。
彭博社总编辑Angus McCrone表示：“达到万亿美元的里程碑是可持续债务市场的关键时刻，如果这个市场之前尚未引起全球主要投资者的关注，那么这个时间点终于到了。这仅仅是开始——尽管可持续债务资本花了12年时间才达到第一个万亿美元规模，但达到第二个却不会花多长时间。”
