电力供应商Colbún已申请环境审批，拟在智利建造一个788MW Planta Fotovoltaica Inti Pacha项目。
根据智利环境评估局（SEA）发布的一份文件，该拟建项目将建造在智利北部安托法加斯塔地区的托科皮亚省玛利亚·伊莲娜市。
这个发电厂将分为三个不同部分，包括Inti Pacha 1（IP1）、Inti Pacha 2（IP2）和Inti Pacha 3（IP3）。项目计划投资约7.88亿美元。
Colbún是组成智利发电商协会的四个发电商之一，其余三个成员分别为Engie、Enel和AES Gener。2018年1月底，这些公司同意不再建造更多燃煤电厂，并逐步关闭现有的燃煤电厂。
截止1月底，智利累计共有2.76GW的光伏装机量。目前，该国正在建设4.25GW可再生能源项目，其中约55%为太阳能项目。
