德国工程、采购和施工服务公司Belectric已在以色列安装了一个480千瓦浮式光伏电站。其承包商是以色列能源企业Nofar Energy。

Belectric透露，该项目在浮式结构上布置了1,300个组件，并且通过浮式海事级电力线连接至陆地上。这家公司表示：“浮动平台本身通过锚固和系泊系统固定在适当的位置。”

根据国际可再生能源机构的数据，截至2018年底，该国已安装的光伏容量约为1,070兆瓦。
