西班牙能源投资公司Sunco Capital已开始动工在西班牙南部卡斯蒂利亚-拉曼恰（Castilla-La Mancha）地区雷阿尔城附近的曼萨纳雷斯（Manzanares）市建设两座总装机容量为83兆瓦的太阳能发电厂。
根据来自Sunco的消息，这两家电厂所发电力将通过一份购电协议（PPA）出售给英荷化石燃料巨头的子公司——荷兰皇家壳牌集团。这两个项目的施工已于昨日启动，其资金来自于西班牙贷款机构桑坦德银行（Banco Santander），但具体数额未公开。
这两个项目计划于明年竣工，届时将成为Sunco首批经营资产。Sunco现在共有2吉瓦太阳能项目开发项目组合，范围跨越欧洲和拉美，并计划到2022年时再投资4.5亿欧元。 壳牌签署的这一PPA是西班牙发生新冠肺炎危机以来在该国签署的第二份无补贴的太阳能供电协议。而葡萄牙公共电力公司EDP旗下的可再生能源部门EDPR上月达成一项协议，将来自59兆瓦太阳能和风能发电设施的电力出售给荷兰跨国公司皇家帝斯曼集团（Royal DSM）。
分析机构彭博社新能源财经表示，自从新冠病毒大流行以来，西班牙的光伏项目成本达到每兆瓦时35.30欧元，可确保该国成为欧洲无补贴企业PPA的最有竞争力的市场。
