Kanoya Osaki Solar Hills LLC是一家由日本电子产品和太阳能电池及组件制造商京瓷作为主要股东的合资企业。该公司的100兆瓦Kanoya Osaki Solar Hills太阳能发电厂——日本九州岛最大的电站之一——已开始运营。

Kanoya Osaki Solar Hills的资助者还包括GF Corporation和九电工株式会社（Kyudenko Corporation），他们成立了一个联盟，专门负责监督发电厂的设计、施工和维护。
此外，金融服务集团东京盛世利株式会社也参与了该项目，它与日本福冈银行（Bank of Fukuoka）合作，与17家地区银行共同为项目提供银团贷款。
Kanoya Osaki Solar Hills LLC与鹿儿岛县、鹿屋市、大阪市及其他社区成员合作建设该厂，且后续负责其运营管理。
该项目的规划始于2014年1月，此前当地社区表示有兴趣重新利用30多年前被指定为高尔夫球场用地、随后被废弃的土地。
京瓷发表声明称：“我们相信，该厂将在鹿屋和大阪创造就业机会并增加税收，由此为当地社区作出巨大贡献。”
京瓷公司智能能源集团执行官兼总经理Akihito Kubota补充道：“GF、京瓷、九电工和东京盛世利株式会社合作启动了这一项目，并承诺与地方政府合作、通过协助实现长期土地再开发愿景的方式为社区做贡献。”
