Zawya的报道是根据科威特日报《Al Rai》的一篇文章编写的,其中援引招标方——国有的科威特国家石油公司(KNPC)的一名消息人士的话说:“KNPC正在等待政府的答复,因为这一重要项目的执行已拖延了很长时间……鉴于这一行业的技术进步,主管机构可能会将项目授予出价最低的投标者,或是重新招标以节省资金……也存在完全取消该项目的可能。”
