中国仍然是德国光伏设备出口商最重要的市场。VDMA报告称，第一季度九成以上的亚洲订单来自中国，尽管第二季度这一数字回落至76%。
在今年的前三个月中，亚洲订单占到了德国这一行业的87%，但是在下一个季度，这一数字下降到了45%。
VDMA的数据显示，4月至6月，德国占太阳能制造设备订单的25%，占销售额的20%。 欧洲电力走廊上各国呼吁欧洲太阳能制造业复兴，以及可能实施本土制造内容要求的讨论——从而减少对中国供应链的依赖——可能有助于进一步提高这些数字。
