作为印度最大的非公用事业发电企业，Tata Power获得了古吉拉特邦Dholera太阳能园区100兆瓦的太阳能发电装机容量。
该项目来自于印度的国家电力公司Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited（GUVNL）。GUVNL将根据一份为期25年的购电协议（PPA）购买园区所发出的太阳能电力。 在GUVNL于3月宣布的700兆瓦拍卖中，Tata Power以2.92印度卢比/千瓦时的电价上限将这个项目成功拿下。

该项目必须在签订PPA之日起15个月内启动。这100兆瓦产能将在投入运营后每年产出预计约246吉瓦时的清洁能源电力，相当于抵消每年约2.46亿公斤的二氧化碳排放。
该项目意味着Tata Power将在古吉拉特邦拥有620兆瓦的在建太阳能产能，其中400兆瓦位于Dholera。
“我们努力确保Tata Power总发电量的35-40%来自清洁能源，这次的开发项目标志着一个重要的里程碑，并将大大有助于实现印度对于绿色和清洁能源的承诺，”这家开发商在一份新闻稿中这样说到。
Tata Power声称已拥有2637兆瓦的可再生能源发电产能，另外还有1299兆瓦正处于开发过程中，其中包括这次的Dholera项目。
