拍卖原定于6月举行，合同所涉装机容量约为5.6太瓦时，但由于新冠肺炎危机而被推迟。
根据CNE发布的初步招标条款，选定项目须从2026年1月1日开始为Sistema Interconectado Central和Sistema Interconectado del Norte Grande电网供电。这些电厂将根据为期15年（2026-2040年）的购电协议提供电力。
此次拍卖还包括蓄能系统部署这一可选方案。最终招标条款将于12月发布。 预计该采购活动将使每年新增5.6太瓦电力电量，是智利政府在2017年11月上旬举行的最近一次可再生能源拍卖中分配的2.2太瓦电量的两倍多。在此采购过程中，最低的电价竞标价为21.48美元/兆瓦时，由意大利能源巨头子公司Enel Generación Chile提交。最终平均电价为32.50美元/兆瓦时。
