葡萄牙公用事业机构EDP下属的EDP Ventures透露，计划收购巴西分布式发电光伏专业公司Blue Sol Participações最多40%的少数股权。
该葡萄牙能源集团的一份声明称，根据交易条款，EDP Ventures还将保留在交易完成后三年半内收购Blue Sol全部控制权的选择权。这笔交易的完成仍取决于一些暂未透露的条件，但有可能会在第一季度达成交易。两家公司均没有透露计划交易的财务条款。
Blue Sol在分布式发电太阳能市场拥有12年经验，尤其专注于企业对消费者（B2C）细分市场，并提供从项目设计到安装的全套服务。今年，公司售出超过峰值功率17.5兆瓦的太阳能容量，取得收入6500万雷亚尔（合1250万美元）。公司声称其在2015-20年期间累计安装了峰值功率约50兆瓦的光伏容量。
巴西是EDP最大的市场之一，仅次于葡萄牙、西班牙和北美。它在巴西拥有1.9吉瓦的可再生能源装机容量，不过其中大部分来自水电站。
