哈萨克斯坦国有铀矿开采商Kazatomprom JSC已启动拍卖，出售其三个太阳能制造部门MK KazSilicon LLP、Astana Solar LLP和Kazakhstan Solar Silicon LLP授权资本的100%股份。
MK KazSilicon LLP的起拍价定为7.07亿坚戈（合168万美元）。该司在Ushtobe经营一家年产能5,000吨的太阳能级冶金级硅生产厂。
在Ust-Kamenogorsk拥有60兆瓦晶片制造厂的Kazakhstan Solar Silicon LLP，其起拍价定为55.9亿坚戈。Astana Solar LLP的起拍价定为33.8亿坚戈。该部门生产多晶太阳能电池和组件，并在阿斯塔纳运营一家产能50兆瓦的生产厂。
这些制造部门在法国财团支持下创建，由政府运营的原子能机构CEA带领，并建成了全集成PV生产线。 Kazatomprom曾试图通过2017年9月启动的第一次拍卖出售这三家公司。之后，在2019年5月，其宣布已将此三家公司75%的股份出售给由俄罗斯石油供应商Yadran Oil的Yadran Solar公司、为光伏行业制造交钥匙生产线的法国ECM Greentech和中国的Kasen / Canadian Solar组成的国际财团。当时，Kazatomprom表示，根据协议条款，该财团将在三年内收购其余25%的股份。
