Eon于周三宣布，已达成协议收购英国屋顶光伏解决方案提供商Eco2solar 49%的股份。
这家成立于2008年的公司与英国许多大型建筑开发商合作，已在学校、医院、大学和配送中心等不同类型的建筑上安装了超过2万套光伏系统。此外，公司还为活跃在社会住宅和商业领域的建筑开发商提供电动汽车的电池储能和充电站解决方案。这次与Eon的合作有望实现Eco2solar在英国市场的进一步发展。
Eco2solar首席执行官Paul Hutchens表示，“Eco2solar将继续独立运营，我们的工作重点将保持不变：为英国各地的新造建筑市场安装太阳能系统、电池储能和其他智能技术。”
Eon表示，英国是一个值得关注的未来市场，尤其是政府已经设定了雄心勃勃的零排放目标。Eon英国业务总监Michael Lewis认为，“我们现在居住的房屋和未来将建造的房屋对于实现这些目标非常关键。”毕竟住房部门构成了英国二氧化碳排放量的第二大组成部分。
