澳大利亚风险投资基金Macquarie旗下的Green Investment Group（GIG）组建了专业的太阳能公司Cero Generation（Cero）。
Cero将作为独立运营的GIG控股公司，通过散布于英国、意大利、西班牙、波兰、法国和荷兰的150个项目建立起8 GW的光伏项目组合。
GIG表示，Cero的专业团队由40多位能源专家组成，他们会与当地合作伙伴一起为公司项目和客户带来“世界一流的工业、商业和技术知识”。团队成员均来自GIG的欧洲开发团队，由首席执行官Nikolaj Harbo带领。
Cero专门开展地面安装和商业太阳能发电项目，也提供综合储能解决方案。据悉，公司的工作范围覆盖项目从开发到施工和运营的所有生命周期阶段。
GIG在北美和亚太地区分别通过Savion LLC和Blueleaf Energy作为太阳能项目开发商开展经营。这些平台与Cero一起推进了全球规模超过20 GW的太阳能项目组合落地。 2019年，Macquarie和Univergy联手推出专注于西班牙市场的欧洲太阳能开发平台Nara Solar。
