法国电池生产商Verkor计划在阿韦龙省奥辛塔尼行政区图卢兹东北部约150公里的罗德兹建设一家16 GWh的电池制造厂。此举获得了专门提供咨询、技术、专业和外包服务的法国跨国公司Capgemini SE的支持。
Verkor表示，Capgemini将利用其在数字化转型、技术服务和工程方面的专业知识来充分发挥数字化及数据的潜力，在低碳电池制造领域取得卓越的成绩。该公司进一步解释说：“Capgemini的目标之一是改进Verkor电池的制造工艺、减少浪费和低效率的情况，同时提升Verkor商业模式的环境和经济绩效。” Capgemini与Schneider Electric、EIT InnoEnergy和Idec Groupe等其他合作伙伴共同参与了该项目，它们于2020年8月份宣布与Verkor建立合作关系。Verkor首席执行官Benoit Lemaignan说道：“我们成功的关键在于汇集全世界最优秀的人才、资源和技能，立志在2023年将法国生产的低碳电池推上市场。”
