这家英荷石油能源巨头旗下的壳牌海外投资部已达成协议收购德国虚拟电厂（VPP）运营商Next Kraftwerke，但具体交易金额暂未公开。
这笔交易预计将在2021年第二季度完成。
壳牌在一份声明中表示，“此次收购符合壳牌以客户为先、以数字为驱动的综合电力战略，这将有助于公司实现成为领先的清洁能源即服务提供商的雄心壮志。壳牌的目标是到2030年每年销售约560 TWh的电力，达到目前销售量的两倍。” Next Kraftwerke目前在德国、比利时、奥地利、法国、波兰、荷兰、瑞士和意大利开展业务。公司各部门专精于代表客户在电力批发市场上进行光伏、生物能源和水电的电力交易。Next Kraftwerke首席执行官Hendrik Sämisch表示：“壳牌和Next Kraftwerke这次携手，将有助于把握市场对可再生能源交易合同需求预料之中的迅速增长，催生更广泛的交易机会和交易协同效应，从而加速实现能源体系的脱碳目标。” 壳牌已经通过其旗下的Limejump经营VPP业务。该公司还在去年2月收购了德国制造商Sonnen，强势进军储能和VPP市场。 而这家石油集团在2018年为可再生能源战略投资了十几亿美元，占其年度投资额的4-6%。最近，壳牌宣布已采取措施，通过开发一个27 MW的太阳能项目，实现其化工业务的绿色化，并提高在荷兰的光伏装机容量。
