在3月8日启动的1 GW光伏招标中，土耳其能源部第一批分配了60 MW的光伏发电装机容量，并在一周后宣布了投标项目的入围名单。
该部共选中了四个项目，容量均为15 MW。其中两个项目计划位于土耳其东南部的阿德亚曼省（Adıyaman），其开发商报价为每千瓦时0.209土耳其里拉（合0.0248美元）和0.22土耳其里拉（合0.0260美元）。
另外两个项目预计将建在该国东部的阿勒省（Ağrı），最终中标价格为每千瓦时0.282土耳其里拉（合0.0335美元）和0.289土耳其里拉（合0.0344美元）。 土耳其光伏协会Günder的储能委员会董事会成员Eren Engur告诉《光伏》杂志，“阿德亚曼省和阿勒省都位于土耳其东部，我们预计未来几天其他地区的报价还会更低。”
此次招标超额认购了八倍之多，共有131个项目提案提交待审，总装机容量达到9.4 GW，中选项目将获得15年的购电保证。
涉及设备选择的国内含量要求在招标中发挥了重要作用。
