法国合作社Céléwatt在法国西南部洛特省的Carayac乡镇建设的250 kW太阳能园区已经完工。
这个地面安装阵列完全布设在由橡木原木制成的安装结构体上，未经过锯木厂加工。为了确保原木最优的力学特性，600棵橡树在生长季节中被砍伐下来，以避免纤维中断。
这种安装结构概念在法国和全球都是首创，开发者是法国的工程公司Mécojit。CéléWatt在一份新闻稿中表示，“在Mécojit进行最后检查后，Enedis的一名技术人员在上午结束时将阵列连接至电网。”Enedis是法国的电网运营商。
据Céléwatt公司透露，从提交项目审批申请到发出第一度电，间隔不到18个月，这证明了在社区发展区域可再生能源的可行性。该项目还得到了法国能源合作社Enercoop的支持，它将以€0.08/kWh的价格购买园区所发电力。
“我们最初构想是为当地促进就业和推广自然资源，”Céléwatt总裁Bertrand Delpeuch曾在去年11月告诉《光伏》杂志，“我们在单晶面板采购来源方面没有选择余地，所以746块单晶面板是由Talesun公司从中国采购后运来的，因此我们决定把重点放在支撑结构上。”
这些面板将每隔三年检查一次稳定性，并目视检查木材的抗性，每十年进行一次全面大修维护。Céléwatt表示，所做的这一切是为了最大限度地延长阵列的服役时间，并补充说，“这是一种非常经久耐用的木种，不怕剧烈的天气变化。”
