Lux Optimeyes Energy正投资约500万欧元在葡萄牙南部城市Moura开设新厂。该厂将生产柔性光伏太阳能电池板和锂电池。
该工厂将占用归Acciona和ProJinko所有的旧Moura太阳能工厂（MFS）设施。MFS曾活跃了10年，然后在2018年9月停产并于2019年1月永久关闭，导致105人失业。
上周，Lux Optimeyes Energy财团背后的一批投资商与位于葡萄牙贝雅省Alentejo地区的市政当局签署了前MFS工厂的租约以及实施项目的谅解备忘录。葡萄牙环境与气候行动部长João Pedro Matos Fernandes及能源国务秘书João Galamba出席了项目的正式启动仪式。
Lux Optimeyes Energy为葡萄牙旅游产业集团Lux旗下公司，其主要领导人包括Rui Torrão和Paulo Torrão，以及曾任Galp Energia创新总监且作为伦敦Self Energy Group和英国同行公司Optimeyes Energy创始人的能源行业资深人士Miguel Matias。
