公司的一位发言人向《光伏》杂志透露道,公司正在印度为其“直接晶圆”生产工艺寻找机遇,公司也在寻找太阳能组件的合作伙伴。
“印度政府提高了国内太阳能制造的优先级别,我们的技术尤其适合印度市场,”1366公司发言人说道。“直接晶圆制造能够为印度公用市场的单结装置带来最低电力成本,并且支持一个经济上可行的高效串联产品的全球领导地位。”
无切割 直接晶圆工艺的无切割晶圆无需在晶圆中置入硅晶锭这一耗时并产生硅粉尘浪费材料的工艺。相反,1366的技术直接使用熔化硅成型晶圆。公司称直接晶圆工艺能够实现世界最低的晶圆生产成本,从而提升电池和组件的竞争力。
直接晶圆工艺 一直是行业的大希望所在,公司在马萨诸塞州贝德福德运营一家示范工厂,公司大部分的技术开发都在这里得以实现。其中一个是2017年8月一款包含钝化发射极背面接触(PERC)技术和1366晶圆的Q Cells Q.antum电池实现了20.3%的创纪录电池效率。1366 Tech其时表示该记录是在量产中使用标准工艺的一条试点生产线实现的。
