Solar Energy Corp. of India（SECI）已开始对在印度卡纳塔克邦以建设-拥有-运营（BOO）模式建设的1.2 GW太阳能项目进行招标。
这些项目将在Gadag和Koppal两个指定的变电站进行互连，变电站容量都将限制在600 MW。
SECI将与中标者签署为期25年的购电协议（PPA），并将电力出售给散布于全印各地的多家不同实体。
开发商可以提交从50 MW起，直至总量1.2 GW的单项投标，但规模仅限以10 MW的整数倍。这些项目必须使用《太阳能光伏组件批准型号与制造商（强制注册要求）命令》中首批清单中的光伏组件。
已经投产的项目不符合此次投标的资格，但现在正在建设中或仍未投入使用的项目，只要尚未被任何其他政府计划所接受，可以被纳入考虑。
Karnataka Solar Power Development Corp. Ltd.将在合同签订后6个月内向中标者提供项目所需土地，土地使用期至少会涵盖PPA的全部期限。
