德国可再生能源公司BayWa re旗下的荷兰太阳能项目开发商Groenleen已在荷兰完成两座总发电量为70.9 MW的浮式光伏电站的建设。
这两座设施的发电量分别为41.1 MW和29.8 MW，且分别建在格罗宁根省和盖尔德兰省Selling的前采砂湖上。

据Baywa透露，第一个项目已于5月下旬开工建设，是目前欧洲最大的运营浮式光伏阵列，也是亚洲以外规模最大的。第二个项目在这一特别排名中占据第二位，且第三大同类电站也是最近由这家德国公司在荷兰完成的一个项目——即位于奥维耶塞尔省Zwolle采石场池塘上的27.4 MW的“Bomhofsplas”浮式光伏电站。
BayWa re发表声明称：“最近两个新项目的完成使得BayWa re在欧洲的浮式光伏投资组合达到11个项目，超过180 MW的绿色能源以及30多万块浮动太阳能电池板共同巩固了BayWa re作为在中国以外的浮动光伏市场领头羊地位。两个浮式光伏发电园区都建在湖中最深处，以保护河岸的动植物。”
