波兰国有公用事业公司Polska Grupa Energetyczna（PGE）旗下的可再生能源分公司PGE Energia Odnawialna已获得许可证，将在波兰东南部Subcarpathia省Tarnobrzeg县Grębów建造一座100 MW的太阳能发电园区。
该太阳能发电园区可能在2023年底投入运营。它包括两套50 MW的机组——PV Jeziórko 1阵列和PV Jeziórko 2电站。一旦建成，该设施将成为波兰最大的太阳能发电厂。
该公司表示还获得了200 MW太阳能发电量的许可证，其中包括其最近获准在波兰东部Masovia省Łosice建造的另外两座总发电量为13 MW的发电厂。
PGE Energia Odnawialna总裁Marcin Karlikowski表示：“我们需要考虑到获得所有批准、环境许可以及其他相关文书是一个持续数月的复杂过程，这一点非常重要。在未来几年里，这一进程会进一步加快，使我们能够宣布每年分配300甚至400 MW光伏发电量的招标。”
该项目是该公司到2030年部署3 GW太阳能发电容量计划的一部分。 2019年，PGE与铜银生产商KGHM Polska Miedź SA（KGHM）签署了一项协议，在KGHM的其中一处设施部署500 MW的太阳能发电容量。
目前，PGE Energia Odnawialna运营着33座水电站、14座风电场和一座600千瓦的光伏发电厂，总发电容量达2.1 GW。但其母公司仍是欧洲最大的煤电企业之一，拥有两座大型褐煤矿山和大约40座主要使用硬煤和褐煤的发电厂。目前，它拥有约36%的波兰能源市场份额。波兰国库部（Ministry of State Treasury）持有该公司57.39%的股份。
