挪威Scatec和印度开发商Acme Solar决定暂停他们在印度拉贾斯坦邦的900 MW太阳能项目。
Scatec指出，印度缺乏国产太阳能电池板且将从4月份开始对进口光伏组件征收40%的关税是暂停该项目的原因。该开发商表示，该项目已被重新启动，正在具体实施中，并补充称其仍然认为印度是一片强大的市场。
Scatec拥有Acme正在开发的拉贾斯坦邦太阳能项目50%的股份。该项目原计划于2022年投入使用，且将受益于与印度太阳能公司达成的、为期25年的购电协议（PPA）。
Scatec称，将拉贾斯坦邦项目重新启动的主要原因是“需要实现或确认[这个900 MW的项目]所属类别的一些项目的进口关税不会被取消……印度市场的组件采购来源将发生变化，会从中国进口或者全部在国内生产。我们有点不确定事态的进展。因此，我们决定重新启动这个大型项目。”
它还指出，“中国进口组件的价格水平与印度国产电池板的预期价格水平之间存在差距”。
该公司补充道：“我们预计，随着时间的推移，印度的组件生产线将达到几乎与中国同等的成本水平。但这一点还有待证实。在没有确定情况之前，我们决定将重新启动该项目。”
去年，Scatec曾表示，这个900 MW的太阳能项目的总资本支出估计为4亿美元，其中75%的债务融资来自于一家印度国有银行。Scatec持有该项目50%的股份，Acme持有另一半。
