太阳能储能与电动汽车（EV）解决方案提供商SPI Energy Co.宣布，其太阳能制造子公司Solarjuice Technology计划在2022年下半年将太阳能组件产能提高至1.1GW。
Solarjuice Technology已签署协议，将在5月中旬利用尖端技术对其位于加州萨克拉门托的制造工厂进行升级，且预计会在第3季度将产能从目前的200MW扩充至1GW。
在Sunergy于2021年根据《美国破产法》第11章申请破产保护之后，SPI获得其140,000平方英尺制造工厂的现有租约。
SPI Energy董事长兼首席执行官彭晓峰先生表示：“这家最先进的太阳能组件制造工厂，再结合加州高技能的工人和机器对机器连通性，必将实现光伏组件制造的高精度自动化与持续改进。”
SPI Energy Co.成立于2006年，拥有三大核心业务：SolarJuice的住宅太阳能业务，SPI Solar和Orange Power的商业及公用事业太阳能业务，以及EdisonFuture/Phoenix Motor电动汽车业务。SolarJuice是面向住宅及小型商业市场的可再生能源系统解决方案领导者，且在亚太地区和北美市场上广泛开展业务。
