中国太阳能、电池和电动车制造商比亚迪已经在其位于巴西圣保罗州坎皮纳斯的太阳能组件生产厂增设了一条新的生产线。
工厂现在的产能为500 MW，将生产基于多母线、半电池和1/3切割电池技术的新电池板，功率输出范围为450 W至670 W。
比亚迪在谈到新生产线时透露，“公司通过这个新产能将加强并保持其不仅是在产量方面，而且在尖端技术方面的全国市场领先地位，并成为行业中对新工艺和设备投资最多的公司之一。”
比亚迪巴西公司的营销和可持续发展总监Adalberto Maluf对该新生产线的启用表示欢迎。
“该工厂不仅是当前运营中的最大规模工厂，位居本国最大制造商之列，更是在过去五年中生产了超过160万块组件，作为清洁和可再生能源的来源，为市场带来了极大的独立性和经济性，”Maluf说。 在巴西政府的贸易和投资促进机构Apex-Brasil的支持下，工厂于2017年投产，年产能为200 MW。采用巴西制造部件的太阳能项目可以从巴西发展银行和巴西东北银行获得融资。 中加合资的光伏组件制造商阿特斯也在圣保罗附近经营一家太阳能组件工厂，年产能为380 MW。
