孟加拉面料制造商Paramount Textile Ltd（PTL）已决定通过收购位于孟加拉国西北部巴布纳区的Dynamic Sun Energy Private Ltd公司49%的股份来投资一家太阳能发电厂。
印度公司Shapoorji Pallonji Infrastructure Capital Company Pvt Ltd（SPInfra）——作为Dynamic Sun Energy Pvt Ltd的最大股东——与PTL将成立一家合资企业，以便在该地区建立一家100 MW的太阳能发电厂。据证券交易所披露，这家太阳能发电厂的项目成本估算约为1.5亿美元。
PTL表示，它在决定收购Dynamic Sun Energy公司49%的股份之时，就考虑到了作为其投资组合多元化组成部分的商业前景。Dynamic Sun Energy已与孟加拉电力发展委员会（BPDB）签署一项为期20年的购电协议，为国家电网提供电力。
BPDB将以0.1195美元/千瓦时的价格从该厂购买电力。
PTL公司秘书Robiul Islam透露，Dynamic Sun Energy已经开始了一些现场土地开发工作，且即将进入全面施工。他告诉《光伏》杂志：“我们有望在今年之内完成这个项目。”
PTL主要从事纺织业务，且已涉足电力领域，它按照另一项合资计划在锡拉杰甘杰地区一家200 MW的锅炉燃油发电厂进行发电。
该公司还拥有Intraco Solar Power公司29%的股份，后者正在孟加拉国北部兰普尔地区建设一座30 MW的太阳能发电厂。该厂预计将在一两个月内完成并网。
目前，孟加拉国拥有787 MW的可再生能源发电容量，其中553 MW来自太阳能。该国希望到2041年实现可再生能源在总发电量中的占比达40%。
