印度国有企业SJVN公司已将一个1GW地面太阳能项目的工程、采购和建设（EPC）合同授予塔塔电力太阳能公司。
在印度可再生能源发展机构（IREDA）组织的一次竞拍中，该水电生产商以可行性缺口基金金额作为投标参数，赢得了中央公共部门承诺（CPSU）计划下的并网光伏发电项目合同。该太阳能项目将建在拉贾斯坦邦的比卡内尔区。
塔塔电力太阳能公司的工作范围包括向SJVN交付其受托建设的太阳能发电厂。塔塔电力太阳能公司还将负责一次性购买土地并作出土地利用安排，将电力输送系统连接到州际输电系统（ISTS）变电站，对太阳能发电厂进行为期三年的运营和维护。
该项目的开发成本估计为549.2亿卢比。预计该项目在运营第一年的发电量为24.5455亿单位，在未来25年的发电量约为568.3832亿单位。该项目计划在EPC合同授予后的24个月内（即2024年5月）完成。
