爱尔兰电网运营商EirGrid宣布了该国于4月底启动的第二轮可再生能源拍卖的暂定结果。
公司在拍卖中分配了1948.2 MW可再生能源，包括1534.1 MW的太阳能和414.1 MW的风力发电。最终的拍卖结果将在6月15日发布，最终平均价格为€0.09787/kWh。
总体上，EirGrid从提交的130个项目中选择了80个项目参加拍卖，其规模从0.5 MW到104.4 MW不等，大多位于爱尔兰中部和南部。项目开发商获得长期保护性电价来补充批发电价，根据项目具体交付日期，时间最长可达16.5年。
这家电网运营商说：“暂定结果已经发给环境、气候和通信部（DECC）部长考虑，如果得到部长和政府的批准，最终拍卖结果将在6月15日发布。”
这轮拍卖没有像第一轮拍卖那样包括独立的光伏优惠类别，所以太阳能项目比风能项目更成功。这使得太阳能项目能够与其他太阳能项目进行同类竞争，而不是与风能竞争，而后者在爱尔兰已经是个成熟产业。该部透露这种选择的原因是第一轮拍卖中太阳能的竞争成本较低。
在第一轮可再生能源拍卖中，爱尔兰当局分配了796 MW的发电产能，不分技术的拍卖平均加权投标价格为€0.07408/kWh。
