塔塔电力透露计划在印度泰米尔纳德邦建立4 GW绿地太阳能电池和组件厂。
集团最近与泰米尔纳德邦政府签署了一项在该邦投资的协议，并将在16个月内将资金部署到位。
塔塔电力说：“位于泰米尔纳德邦的新工厂将整合单晶硅钝化发射极背面接触（PERC）双面技术和未来的n型隧道氧化物钝化触点（TopCON）技术，并将生产具有行业领先效率的高瓦数组件。”
工厂将使用带有激光器和摄像头的自主移动机器人，并采用智能制造工具和技术。集团预计该厂将直接或间接地创造2000多个就业机会。
塔塔电力是最早在印度开设太阳能工厂的公司之一。在2021财年，它在卡纳塔克邦班加罗尔的现有制造工厂建立了一条单晶硅电池生产线，其产能包括635 MW组件和500 MW电池。
