H2X Global表示，已将使用氢能发电且零排放的新型5 kW燃料电池发电机出售给Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre（PICAC），供其用于位于澳大利亚昆士兰州的氢能卓越中心。
Power H2装置以氢燃料电池为动力并配备一个小型储氢罐，将被安装在该PICAC设施中。中心于10月开放，将成为澳大利亚第一个专门的氢能培训设施。
H2X Global的CEO Brendan Norman说，示范机型的出售标志着可再生能源用于应急和离网供电的一个转折点。
他说：“我们已开发出一系列提供不同功率输出的燃料电池发电机，将在零排放能源转型中作为化石燃料发电机的替代品。这款发电机是一个交钥匙型氢能解决方案，运转过程零排放。”
Norman说，氢燃料电池发电机组将有2 kW到100 kW规格可选，是医院和企业理想的备用电源系统。
他说：“H2X发电机非常适合取代标准型汽油或柴油发电机，能切换到无碳排的氢燃料电池运营。”
示范机型的出售由拥有H2X Global 23%股份悉尼公司Pure Hydrogen负责。
Pure Hydrogen的总经理Scott Brown说：“这个发电装置的核心是经过数年开发的一块氢燃料电池和一个动力系统。这项技术处于氢能革命的最前沿，很高兴看到它得到商业化部署。”
