迪拜Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum太阳能公园项目分几个阶段招标，且已有开发商多次出价创历史新低。
迪拜水电局（DEWA）已启动一项招标，将在迪拜市以南约50公里处建造一座900 MW的太阳能设施。
这座太阳能发电厂是Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum太阳能公园的第六期规划。该大型项目将在2030年建成之后拥有5 GW的太阳能和聚光太阳能（CSP）发电容量。
迪拜水电局表示，中标开发商将以独立电力项目（IPP）的模式建造和运营这座发电厂。投标者提交标书的截止时间为10月10日。
DEWA表示，Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum太阳能公园目前拥有1627 MW的总装机容量，其中包括第一期的13 MW、第二期的200 MW和第三期的800 MW，以及仍在开发当中的第四期和第五期项目。
DEWA表示，正在开发的后两期项目将新增1233 MW发电量，其中包括700 MW的延迟CSP容量。这将使迪拜到2030年增加2140 MW的装机容量，其中900 MW来自第六期项目。
