SECI已启动招标，在印度开发装机容量1.2 GW的风力光伏混合发电项目及配套储能项目。这些项目将按照“开发-产权-运营”的模式进行安装，并将与州际传输电网进行连网。项目最低投标装机容量为50 MW。
SECI将与混合能源项目开发商签署一份为期25年的电力购买协议，具体价格待逆向拍卖会后确定。
SECI在招标文件中表示：“该混合能源项目开发商需要对土地、安装和项目所有权进行明确，并获得必要的连网许可，同时与ISTS 网络相连，以便向SECI提供电力。”
为符合混合项目的安装条件，太阳能和风能组件的额定容量必须至少达到合同总容量的33%。例如，如果一个项目的合同容量为100 MW，那么风能和太阳能组件的额定容量至少分别达到33 MW。
此外，中标开发商预计将为每个附带电力购买协议的100 MW签约项目，配建至少100 MWh的储能系统容量。储能组件必须与每个项目的光伏或风能组件位于同一位置。
