Socom公司总裁Marc Thein在该工厂的新闻发布会上表示,每块“卢森堡制造”的太阳能电池板将比亚洲制造的电池板贵15欧元(16.20美元)至18欧元,但其并未透露电池板的技术细节。据报道,Evocells将在原材料采购和简化供应链管理方面发挥主导作用,同时优先考虑产自欧洲的材料。
Thein表示:“为了减少对世界另一边的零部件供应和交付的依赖,在当地生产会更加容易。”
新工厂将需要500万欧元(540万美元)的初始投资,并将创造约20个就业岗位。
“太阳能产业正在卢森堡蓬勃发展……这种能源不仅清洁,有助于大公国实现其可再生能源发展目标,而且在当地生产,也是摆脱对俄罗斯化石燃料依赖的解决方案的一部分,”卢森堡能源部长 Claude Turmes说,“Socom项目旨在国内生产光伏电池板,有助于我们加强从电池板生产到光伏能源生产的独立性,加速当地的能源转型。”
